MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been affected by his global popularity. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was released in 2017 by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. The following year, he collaborated with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. Mala Influencia, released in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album the following year. In 2021 he recorded the duet to TINI's smash track Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is from an instrumental background. Both his parents and brother also play music. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is a must. He learned how to play guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. Though his original career plan was becoming a veterinarian for animals but his brother Julian advised him to begin learning to sing with the Cuban. It changed his entire life.
